One of the biggest challenges in today’s constantly changing workplace is working effectively with other people, whether that is a co-worker, your boss, a direct report, someone from another department or a customer or supplier. Wouldn't you be interested in a way to become more effective with all these "people challenges" that surround you?

You begin by understanding yourself better. Think of yourself as a computer. What kind of operating system do you have installed? The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ("MBTI") is a self-inventory that gives you a better idea of how your personal operating system works. You will discover which of the 16 personality types you are. All 16 types are good and valuable to any business. However, they operate differently in the way that they communicate and relate to others.

You begin by discovering your own "type," and then move on to be able to appreciate some of the differences in personality type that will help you better understand the people challenges that await you. You will also be able to use type information to guide you on your own career development and satisfaction.

Your next step will be to learn techniques to recognize key "type" differences, and then how to flex your style to be more effective at influencing others. You will be equipped with the tools to be more effective both on the job and outside the workplace.

Jerry has been a qualified user of the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory since 1992. He is a member of the Association for Psychological Type (APT) and has made multiple presentations at both their regional and international conferences. Jerry believes there is no more powerful tool for both individuals and organizations to grow and develop.

The MBTI can be completed before the session or a self-scoring instrument can be utilized during the session. Jerry prefers pre-completion of the MBTI, because it gives him more information to custom design the workshop for each group and valuable workshop time is not utilized to complete the instrument.
